"HERO" SINGLE RELEASE

"HERO" is already receiving wide radio airplay across EUROPE, and is due to be released around November 15th on the Sanctuary Records Group label (T&T).

(Looks like noone will be winning any cover art design awards for complexity - but its cool to see them continuing the style).

The contents: apparently the album version of 'Hero' as well as a radio mix of it, and 'Reason'.

so they shortend Norums guitar solo really for the radio mix? John told in an interview he gave here that he´s totally against that and I thought the whole time this "No" would be for God thanks the end of this discussion?

Why not a cover of Thin Lizzy?? The song is about Phill Lynot Isn't it??? But anyway single releases are ONLY interresting when there are some special (unreleased!) tracks on it!

Well, for those hoping for bonus features on the single - this MAY just happen as there is (again) a 'maxi' and a 'regular' version of the single to purchase.

fingers crossed there is a video with it. I got the CD single of HGTHF with the video on and its awesome I just keep playing it over and over all the time. I like all the songs on the album I can't make up my mind with I like the most. They are releasing it just in time for the Hammersmith gig. Great.

Is Hero not going on worldwide release??? If not, why not. If it is being released on 15 /11 then Everybody going to the UK gig could buy it and get Europe back in the UK charts!!! Or am I being too naive??

no tony you are not being naive, i was thinking the same thing.
i will be emailing radio one to play the song so "hero" can get some air play, and hopefully uk europe fans and new fans from the uk can get europe back in he U.K.charts.

I agree. Bombard radio one. I've tried other stations like Planet Rock etc who still only play old stuff.. though they did play seventh sign which I found quite cool.

i thought that hero was a u.k release yet i have heard absolutely nuthing about it. no airplay not even a mention over here!

i think europe wont have much success in the u.k because the dj's dont want to play europe at the best of times! i think its a great pity.

its a shame i thought it would of done well here in the u.k.
dont understand why the record shops in the u.k. are not selling the single.

they are selling the album, so why not the single?

but if you notice angelo each store only has about 3 copies of the new europe album in stock. its sad but there just isnt any interest in the u.k! europe should be on uk top of the pops and on other tv shows to promote themselves but it just hasnt happened. even the hammersmith concert wasnt advertised very well. only in magazines. its radio and tv that europe need to get their music played.

so hopefully it will do well in holland.
