tonight at the German Channel ZDF

This Saturday, the 27th of November, Europe will perform live at a show called "50 Jahre Rock!
They will play Hero,The final countdown and Carrie.
If you go at the site of ZDF..there also this page:chat??? What does this mean? Will there be a chat with Europe?? Can someone translate this German,plese??

Well I´ve been thinking as you,...I wrote similar thread on Events. But I have no idea what does that with chat mean? I don´t think that is a chat with Europe but a chat with other fans and viewers.

They have also linked one video and some audios, all from the new album, of course.

There is nothing very exciting there in other infos. They said that Europe is one of the 80-ies, hm, how do I translate "Mega -Kracher", something like a band that made it suddenly very big in the 80-ies. Hm, my english is bad indeed.

Oh, you're wrong. You can chat with Europe during the show (at 21 h)!!! Between their performances!! If you want to go to the chat page, click HERE.

You have to register. Click on HIER REGISTRIEREN. ON the next page fill in:

Benutzername (Nickname): your nickname
Passwort (gut merken): password
Passwort (noch mal): the same password (confirm)

E-Mail-Adresse: your e-mail addy
E-Mail-Adresse (noch mal): the same e-mail addy (confirm)

Then mark the box:

and

Hi, i recorded the whole thing, but i dont have any server room
to place the movie (big version =100 mb) (small version = 33 mb).

They were great and have played a 6 minutes mix from Carrie, Hero and Countdown. They did a live performance and had obviously fun.

Sorry for the missinformation, but fortunatly there were others that weren´t that hasty in reading the ZDF page.

So, how did you like Europe´s appearance?

For me it was to short, of course, because I found that some songs didn´t belong there, but than again, rock is very wide definition. Anywho...
They should play only Carrie and Hero,cause I think TFC was here realy not necessary, but on the other hand I can always here TFC ... Still they were great ,even if for so short mix of three songs. I was surprised when I first read that they play three songs, and even more when I heard them to be so funny shortened. On the other hand, they were the only ones that have played three songs, I think only D. O´Riordan did two,also combined.

I agree with Lujza- it was to SHORT!!!!But I´m happy having seen them on German TV again after a long time........

Baffie it is a pity that Mic was so seldom shown. Nicki you are right that Ian is a sexy guy. But for me all FIVE are great!!!

Our Thomas Gottschalk has made (for us)a big mistake by telling that the new CD is called "Start With The Dark"....

They should have skipped TFC and play the full Hero. Probably it was their contract to play TFC and Carrie and they also wanted to play Hero (quite understandable). John N didn't play any solo! It was good to hear the "full" version of Carrie after 12 years. Anyway: Good promotion for the band.

yes they played too short, but it was cool to see them on television again. The chat was very cool and it's good promotion for them, although I was a little bit disappointed that there was no guitarsolo played at all. Contract and business I guess.
